My name is Ann Ostrowski. I’m a former magazine writer and editor, and a stay-at-home mom of four kids, ranging in age from 8 to 16. I have loved design since I was a kid and begged my mom for forest green carpet in my bedroom to go with the white, pink, and green comforter I had picked out. She opted for pale pink carpeting but I still maintain that the green would have looked great (it was the 80s).

I love following designers on Instagram, looking at real estate, and spending an inordinate amount of my free time thinking about how spaces could work better. I am often found in the midst of rearranging furniture or relocating accessories. When I get a room “right,” it gives me a thrill.

I also love organizing and I really love how easy it makes my life. With four active kids, I don’t have a lot of time to spend looking for things. I relish coming up with creative solutions for storage and making rooms work better.
